Hi! Please donate if you are able, and please share the link below. We are a grassroots organization. We are still recovering from the hurricanes and providing top-notch veterinary care to all of our birds, especially Thunder the Bald Eagle. We have one of the most unusual and impressive collections in Florida. Our osprey is one of the only in the world to fly to the glove. We display all 3 global raptors and 5 of the 7 falcon species. Admission is free, and Title I schools receive on-site programs at no charge. This month is Tampa Bay Raptor Rescue's 10th Anniversary as a 501-C3. Thanks for sharing!

Penelope is a bald eagle who came to us from Peace River Wildlife Center located in Punta Gorda, Florida. She was injured sometime after fledging from a southern Florida nest and was spotted on the ground in a wooded area by a couple hiking. Penelope has permanent wing damage and would not survive in the wild. She turned 6 in 2020!
Elvis came to Moccasin Lake Nature Park in 1987 from the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey. He was imprinted on humans after being shot in the wild. Elvis regularly interacts with volunteer staff and park visitors and is a favorite of many.
Lulu
Great Horned Owl
Sunshine
Swallow-Tailed Kite
Lulu is a human-dependent bird because she was not raised in the wild. She was evaluated by several rehabilitation professionals and unfortunately would not survive in the wild and is unreleaseable. She is a Great Horned Owl (GHOW), which is a species at the top of its food chain.
Sunshine is a non-releaseable Swallow-Tailed Kite (STKI) due to a head trauma and eye injury. Swallow-Tailed Kites are often mistaken for seagulls because they have similar colorings- light on the bottom and dark on the top. STKIs eat small rodents and large insects.
