We are still recovering from the hurricanes and providing top-notch veterinary care to all of our birds, especially Thunder the Bald Eagle. We have one of the most unusual and impressive collections in Florida. Our osprey is one of the only in the world to fly to the glove. We display all 3 global raptors and 5 of the 7 falcon species. Admission is free, and Title I schools receive on-site programs at no charge. Thanks for sharing!

What We Do
Our volunteers provide community education and day-to-day care and enrichment for the birds who live at Moccasin Lake Raptor Sanctuary.
We collaborate with a number of community organizations to:

Provide permanent care for over thirteen species of raptors at Moccasin Lake Nature Park in Clearwater, FL.

Offer sanctuary to over 26 birds of prey, including bald eagles and peregrine falcons

Manage urban osprey nesting platforms throughout Pinellas County

Rescue wild birds of prey that have been injured
